Hard nut Clay Smith and mature aged recruit Tory Dickson have both been recalled to the extended squad, while new faces Daniel Pearce and Fletcher Roberts are also in the mix to debut.

Dickson stood tall as Williamstown’s only goal kicker last week slotting through three against Port Melbourne, while Clay Smith has worked tirelessly in the VFL leading around the stoppages and through the midfield.
Both Pearce and Roberts have been listed amongst the best for Williamstown on a number of occasions this season with their efforts being recognized by the match committee.
Big men Jarrad Grant and Ayce Cordy have also made their case at the selection table after missing last week’s clash with niggling complaints.
Development Coach Peter German is certain the boys will put up a fight against the tenth placed North Melbourne and is hopeful to secure the Dogs’ third win for the season.
“We expect to have a really solid performance, there is no doubt that we have trained really well on the track this week so hopefully we can get the points,” German said.
“Coming into the squad… young Fletcher Roberts and Daniel Pearce, two boys who are really starting to come along with their development.
“Tory Dickson gets an opportunity if he’s in the [final] side and same with Clay Smith.”
Defender Easton Wood will miss the game against North after enduring a hamstring injury during the third quarter against Collingwood in what was arguably his career best game.
Both Nathan Djerrkura (hip) and Liam Jones (back) will also be out of action this weekend.
