3 – The number of Brownlow votes Jack Macrae will probably get despite being in the losing side.  Macrae had another day out with 43 disposals, including 14 contested, 14 marks, six intercepts, four clearances, seven tackles, 11 score involvements, 569 metres gained, a game high 60 pressure points and a goal.  Decent day out. 

2 – The amount of Rising Star nominations you’d expect the Dogs will end the season with after Aaron Naughton hopefully earns his much deserved gong next week.  It’s been a big year for the first year defender and he’s finished it in style with 18 possessions, including 12 contested, nine marks, 12 intercepts and even five score involvements. 

8 – No one had more tackles than Marcus Bontempelli did yesterday, which says a bit about his toughness.  Another solid outing from the vice-captain with 29 touches and seven marks, but to lay eight tackles when we know he’s struggled a bit physically the past couple of weeks… it’s all you need to know about the 22-year-old, really. 

5 – The number of players to average over 30 disposals over the last four weeks of the season. Jack Macrae (38 per game), Lachie Hunter (36 pg), Marcus Bontempelli (30.7 pg), Josh Dunkley (30.7 pg) and Caleb Daniel (30.2 pg) 

26 – Another three goals for 2017 Rookie selection Billy Gowers sees him crowned the Bulldogs leading goal kicker for the 2018.  And let’s not forget about this.  We’ve got a good one, here.
