The Western Bulldogs have made one change ahead of their Elimination Final clash with Hawthorn at the MCG on Friday night.

James Harmes will return to the 23 after missing since Round 13, while Arthur Jones has been omitted.

The 28-year-old former Demon was pivotal in Footscray’s VFL qualifying final victory over Brisbane last week, gathering 37 touches and kicking a goal at Mission Whitten Oval.

Adam Treloar retains his spot in the team despite some calf trouble last weekend, while Laith Vandermeer will line up at half-forward after being subbed with hamstring tightness last weekend.

Harmes, Caleb Daniel, Harvey Gallagher, Jack Macrae and Joel Freijah make up the interchange bench with one set to be named sub an hour before the bounce.

Buku Khamis, Rhylee West and Arthur Jones are the emergencies.

The game begins at 7.40pm AEST, with the crowd set to be one of the biggest of the season with over 90,000 expected.

The winner will progress through to a Semi-Final to face either Port Adelaide or Geelong next weekend.
