The Western Bulldogs have come out of Sunday’s win against Port Adelaide with a clean bill of health, while five players returned to the field via the VFL.

Sunday’s late withdrawal Ryan Hargrave will undergo a fitness test ahead of this weekend’s clash with Brisbane Lions after pulling up sore before the Port showdown, according to Medical Services Manager Andrew McKenzie.

“Ryan Hargrave missed after waking up sore on Sunday morning and we just felt that he wouldn’t get through that game, so he will be tested this week,” McKenzie said.

It was only positive news coming out of the VFL ranks with Lukas Markovic, Nathan Djerrkura and Tom Campbell making their return for Williamstown on Sunday.

Campbell wasted no time with his efforts seeing him named amongst the best on ground.

Meanwhile, Jason Tutt and Jason Johannisen made a pleasing return through the Williamstown development squad.

“We had five guys come back this week. Markovic and Campbell both came back from a hamstring, Djerrkura came back from a quad,” McKenzie said, “…Tutt and Johannisen came back from knees and all got through really well - so really happy with that.”
