The Western Bulldogs have made two changes ahead of a trip down the highway to play Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night.

Key forward Aaron Naughton returns after exiting concussion protocols, while Adam Treloar has recovered from his calf tightness to take his place in the 23.

Harvey Gallagher and Riley Garcia drop out of the team after being omitted.

Despite exiting protocols, James O’Donnell will miss another week due to a hamstring issue.

Ryley Sanders, Caleb Poulter, Joel Freijah, Jack Macrae, Lachie McNeil have all been named on the interchange bench, with one player set to be named sub an hour before the game.

Alex Keath, Arthur Jones and Riley Garcia are the emergencies for the fixture.

The bounce is set for 7.30pm with the game to be live and free on Channel 7, as well as Fox Footy and Kayo.

As part of TAC Road Safety Round, football and netball players across the state will band together.

This year’s Road Safety Round will spotlight speeding - a major contributor to trauma on Victorian roads. To honour lives lost on the road, the Bulldogs will wear blue armbands on Saturday night, also serving as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to play our role.

The Dogs can move to 10-8 on the ladder with a win over the Cats.
