Key forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and defender Ed Richards are in for the Western Bulldogs’ important clash against the Sydney Swans at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.
Ugle-Hagan, the number one pick in last year’s draft, will become the sixth Bulldog to debut at AFL level in 2021.
Richards returns to the line-up after being a late withdrawal last week against North Melbourne due to illness.
Star forward Aaron Naughton is out due to concussion protocols. Toby McLean and last week’s medical sub, Pat Lipinski, also make way from the side that defeated the Roos.
Hayden Crozier, Josh Schache, Lachie McNeil and Jordon Sweet are the emergencies.
One of the four will be confirmed as the Bulldogs’ medical sub an hour before the first bounce.
The match will also mark Luke Beveridge’s 150th AFL game as senior coach.
Beveridge has led the Bulldogs to 86 wins – at a win rate of 57.72 per cent – since taking the reins at the start of the 2015 season.
Channel 7 and Fox Footy will broadcast the game live.
