Seven weeks after a stinging loss to the Saints in round five, the return game in round 13 saw the Bulldogs fighting for redemption.

After a tight tussle in the first half with only six goals scored, Dogs defender Easton Wood was the difference in the second half.

Wood took a game-high 13 marks, including a game-saving grab in the dying minutes, that helped the Dogs to a six-point victory.

It was a dominant display from Wood, that kick-started the defender’s road to an All-Australian selection.
