The Western Bulldogs and the AFL would like to issue an apology to any Members affected by the rejection of membership cards at the turnstiles at yesterday’s game against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium.

The problem today arose from an error in the Ticketmaster turnstile software at the venue not reading the barcodes correctly, which in turn rejected entry to the venue.

It is important to note that the problem was with turnstile settings and there is nothing wrong with your membership card that you have been issued.

The Western Bulldogs and AFL have been assured by the relevant stakeholders, that this error will not be repeated for any future matches at Etihad Stadium.

The Western Bulldogs and AFL greatly appreciate the patience shown by Members affected by this error, while Ticketmaster, Etihad Stadium, AFL and Western Bulldogs staff worked to fix the problem.
