Round 1 is upon us and the LeasePlan Western Bulldogs are calling on all Doggies fans to come and celebrate with us on Sunday!
 
Captain Brad Johnson will play his 300th game on Sunday and is looking forward to a hard hit out for the team.
 
“For me it is about winning the game and starting the season the way we want to continue. The milestone is great and I’m really proud of my achievement but at the end of the day I want to win the game,” he said.
 
Senior Coach Rodney Eade said that Johnson was one of the best players he has ever coached.
 
“He is in the top three of players I have coached and his work ethic and personality is second to none. He is a great man to have around the club and a great player.”
 
The Bulldogs take on Adelaide with two players particularly focused on coming out on top – namely Scott Welsh and Ben Hudson. Both recruited from the Adelaide Crows during the pre-season the pair are looking forward to getting the season started.
 
“We really just want to get cracking. We have had a strong pre-season and we now feel that we are in tune with our new club. Things are going well and we can’t wait to get out there and prove ourselves to our new supporters,” Hudson and Welsh said.

Full Member access to the Victory Room
 
All Full Members are reminded they have access to the Victory Room at Telstra Dome for all home games.  Full Members need to simply show their membership card at the door to gain access.  Andrejs Everitt will be interviewed by our MC Stephen J Peak at 12:25pm on Sunday.
 
After match function in the Victory Room
 
All Western Bulldogs members are invited back to the Victory Room at the completion of the game.  Several players will be attending including Jarred Grant, James Mulligan, Scott West (time dependent on recovery and media commitments), Brad Johnson (following post match press conference).

Due to the expected high attendance and demand for tickets, Rows A-F on level 3 will be released for sale to Club members and the general public. 
 
Any 11 game, 17 game, Long Distance and Multi 3 members wishing to reserve a seat need to only pay for the reserved seat itself.
