Community Football Weekend has been scheduled from May 9-11and with no AFL matches being played it is specifically designed to encourage Australians to return to their local club and celebrate football with their community.

By ensuring that your local club has submitted their details will allow them the opportunity to host an AFL player, with many players returning to their grassroots club across these three days.  Your club will also be kept up-to-date with all the activities planned for the weekend and will be supplied with tips on how they can enhance their Community Football Weekend experience.

It is also imperative that leagues and clubs encourage their past players, coaches, and anyone else that has had a significant impact to return to the club to participate in the activities and make the day as memorable as possible.

So…make sure your club is kept up-to-date with all the fun and excitement that Community Football Weekend will bring and visit 150years.com.au to ensure that your club is registered and is part of the 150 Year Celebrations.
