Hall has been left out of the side set to take on the premiers at the MCG as he continues to struggle with an ankle injury, while Hudson and Higgins are out with soreness after a taxing game in Perth just three days ago.
Hudson was absent from training on Thursday at a wedding, coach Rodney Eade said, and Higgins was also unsighted.

The Dogs have named an extended bench for the Sunday evening match that includes Will Minson, Brodie Moles, Dylan Addison, Nathan Djerrkura, Liam Jones and young West Australian Jayden Schofield.
Schofield, a lightly-built defender from East Fremantle who the Dogs picked with selection No.74 overall in the 2010 NAB AFL Draft, is a chance to play his first AFL game.
Defender Tom Williams has been named despite hurting his back in Monday night's loss to Fremantle, while Mitch Wallis, who played his first game in round five, is on the expanded bench that will be trimmed on Friday.
Eade said the clash with Collingwood was a huge one for the Dogs after they fell to Fremantle by just seven points on Anzac Day at Patersons Stadium.
"We're disappointed with the result from Monday night. The players have trained well this week and we're looking forward to a good performance against the Pies on Sunday," he told Bulldogs TV on Thursday.
"Obviously last week was a disappointing result even though the effort and endeavour of the players I couldn't be critical of.
"There were a lot of real plusses in the performance and our major KPIs, we were able to win most of them.
"Unfortunately we didn't kick straight and take up opportunities when they were presented.
"So now we're looking forward to this week against the top team in the competition, the reigning premier, and for all our supporters it's a blockbuster game."
Sunday's match is a replacement game for club members in exchange for the round-seven match at Manuka Oval in Canberra against the Sydney Swans.
