Geelong's Mathew Stokes and Sydney midfielder Nic Fosdike are challenging penalties arising from last weekend's NAB Cup quarter-finals along with Fremantle's Jeff Farmer and Michael Johnson.Cross is contesting a charge of making contact with field umpire Ray Chamberlain in last Friday's match against the Brisbane Lions at Telstra Dome at the risk of a $3200 penalty.Stokes is facing a three-match ban for his 'forceful contact' with Port's Domenic Cassisi in Darwin on Saturday night while Fosdike was reported for striking Tiger Matthew White in Canberra and faces a one-match suspension.Farmer has a six-match penalty pending for allegedly eye-gouging Kangaroos defender Daniel Pratt at Telstra Dome last Sunday while Johnson is contesting a 'forceful contact' charge attracting a three-match penalty.Nathan Lonie of Port Adelaide has accepted a reprimand for striking Geelong's Andrew Mackie while Fremantle's Dean Solomon has also taken an early plea and agreed to a reprimand for striking Kangaroos midfielder Brent Harvey.
