Western Bulldogs mature-aged recruit Tory Dickson says the team is remaining positive ahead of its interstate clash with Fremantle, despite a recent form slump which has seen heavy defeats in three of its past four matches.
“The club is in a good mind-set at the moment… all the guys have high morale” Dickson told SEN yesterday.

The 24-year-old has been a revelation up forward kicking 10 goals in his first nine games at AFL level and said continual education might be the key to turn the Club’s fortunes around this season.
“It’s obviously disappointing and we’ve obviously got a young list so we have to educate them as much as possible.
“He’s [McCartney] obviously educated a young list before and things have turned out fine,” Dickson said.

The Bulldogs go into Sunday’s match with a good record against the Dockers, having won seven its past eight clashes — and will look to improve that record further with a win against the 13th placed side.
“We’ll be looking to bounce back, we’ve got a lot of resilient leaders and a lot of resilient guys around the Club.
“It’ll be our number one priority to crack in, get the contest right and hopefully come away with a good win,” Dickson said.
The Bulldogs recalled youngsters Wallis, Cordy, Tutt, Austin and Pearce into the 25 man squad along with 200-gamer Lindsay Gilbee — in the absence of Murphy [hip], Cooney [soreness], Addison [jaw], and Jones [omitted].
