A shared passion for the Western Bulldogs underpinned the camaraderie at the Western Bulldogs Cheer Squad‘s annual Christmas celebration at Whitten Oval on Sunday.
Members young and old came together to reminisce on the year that was, with almost 100 avid Dogs members in attendance.
The night culminated in the announcement of the 2012 Most Popular Player award, with fan favourite Luke Dahlhaus on hand to accept his trophy.
Will Minson also attended the largely successful event, with both players more than willing to take time out from their weekend to sign autographs and mingle with some of the Bulldogs’ most passionate members.
A visit from Woofer and Santa added to the festivities at the exclusive Cheer Squad event.
The Western Bulldogs have long been recognised as having one of the most passionate supporter bases in the AFL, with the Cheer Squad traditionally standing at the forefront.
The Cheer Squad is currently looking to expand their membership, with all passionate Bulldogs members and fans encouraged to join.
