Williamstown Senior Coach and Western Bulldogs Development Coach Peter German looks at how the Bulldogs listed players are faring in the VFL.

Patrick Veszpremi: Played mainly forward and was lively in his role as one of our key forwards. He kicked three really good goals at critical moments throughout the game.

Matt Panos: He kicked three goals also - with the wind the way it was blowing across the ground, I think it has been a season which has been tough for the key forwards this year. He made the most of his opportunities and laid four tackles on the weekend. He has been able to find the goals throughout the finals series, so he was good for us in that area again.

Tom Hill: He kicked two goals and played his role in the side as a forward and in the ruck - and I thought he did both of them really well. He is just starting to take on more responsibility and it is starting to come out in his game.

Fletcher Roberts: Fletch was forward and back. With the multiple options now in defence with our talls it gave Fletch the opportunity to go forward.

Brodie Moles: He was solid on the wing and he was important in a lot of our offensive plays through the midfield. Brodie has become a pretty important player with his experience over the past month.

Michael Talia: Talia came back from senior footy playing AFL. He probably wasn’t as effective as he has been over the journey - I think the change of pace and coming from Etihad Stadium to a windy ground down at Casey, it takes some adjusting.

Alex Greenwood: He has become pretty important in our midfield rotations now and he is really starting to take that responsibility on board. It is all part of his progression —  his last couple of games have been really strong for us. It speaks of volumes of the development we have been putting into him and a lot of the young boys. Alex is going to important again for us this week.
