WESTERN Bulldogs youngsters Luke Dahlhaus, Matthew Panos, Liam Jones, Christian Howard, Dylan Addison and Lukas Markovic have all signed contract extensions with the club.

Dahlhaus, the slippery small forward who won a NAB Rising Star nomination following a string of impressive performances in 2011, and fellow forward Matthew Panos, have both been upgraded from the rookie list to the Bulldogs' senior list.

Jones, a tall forward earmarked as a key for the Bulldogs in the post-Barry Hall era, was also a NAB Rising Star nominee this year.

Addison and Howard are both midfielders.

"This is an extremely positive outcome for our club and completes the re-signings of our remaining players, including the upgrade of two emerging talents off the rookie list," said Bulldogs general manager of football James Fantasia.

"We are now in a position to go into the draft with four picks, one of which may be used as a pre-season pick."

The Bulldogs hold picks 17, 39, 49 and 57 in this month's NAB AFL Draft.

The club held its first pre-season training session under new coach Brendan McCartney at the Whitten Oval on Monday morning.
