Tory Dickson’s rise to the AFL ranks may have been delayed but the 24 year old will not have to wait much longer as he prepares to line up for the Western Bulldogs this Sunday, less than 5 months after being drafted.
After accidentally missing phone calls from Senior Coach Brendan McCartney earlier this week Dickson feared the worst but his worries soon vanished when McCartney informed him of his upcoming debut.
Dickson gave Bulldogs fans a teaser of what is to come when he slotted through the winning goal against Carlton in the NAB Cup this pre-season.
Drafted from the VFL for his goal-scoring ability, Dickson will be a valuable addition to the Bulldogs line-up in Season 2012.
