Injury has ruled out Western Bulldogs captain Matthew Boyd and key forward Liam Jones for Sunday's round 19 match against the Sydney Swans at Etihad Stadium.
With the pair out of action, the Bulldogs have named five additions to the squad that defeated West Coast by 22-points when teams were announced Thursday evening.

Boyd will miss the Sunday afternoon match against the Swans after pulling up with a sore calf following the Club’s clash against the Eagles.
Persistent soreness has resulted in Boyd having precautionary scans today and he will miss this week.
Jones has been ruled out due to a minor ankle injury.
All five Bulldogs added to Sunday's squad have been named on the extended bench, including last week’s emergencies Mark Austin, Jake Stringer and Christian Howard.
Daniel Cross and Tom Campbell have also been rewarded for their consistent VFL form in recent months and have been added to the mix.
“[There are] a couple of changes this week…it gives a couple of opportunities to a few players,” Assistant Coach Steven King said.
The last month of football has seen the Bulldogs deliver hard-nosed performances against some of the league's powerhouse clubs and King expects that the young side will attack the contest against the reigning premiers in a similar fashion.
“Hopefully this week we can keep improving and building on what we have done in the last month and come up against a pretty strong side,” he said.
“We are quietly confident that we can put our best foot forward and have a really competitive result.”
