Make a day of it at the Bulldogs double header this weekend. First visit Victoria University Whitten Oval to watch the Footscray Bulldogs do battle with the Northern Blues from midday. The Easter Sunday fun continues at Etihad Stadium when the Western Bulldogs take on Carlton in front of a home crowd in a twilight clash.
Public Transport Disruptions – Sunbury line
Metro trains have advised there will be some disruptions on the Sunbury line on Sunday 20 April 2014 with buses replacing trains between North Melbourne and Sunbury. Services on the Pakenham & Cranbourne, Williamstown and Werribee lines will also be affected and longer travel times can be expected. Bulldogs members and fans are encouraged to factor in these delays before their trip on Sunday. For more information visit metrotrains.com.au
Match Day Activities - Be The Home Ground Advantage
Warm up your vocal chords. Grab your cap and scarf. Gather your friends and family. We need you to be there and be our home ground advantage.
Make an afternoon of it, get there early and get involved with the huge array of fan activities around the concourse, and on the big screen starting from when gates open.
• EJ Whitten Social Club members will be allowed access to their dedicated area in the Victory Room at Etihad Stadium from 3:00pm on match day
• Bulldogs mascots Sid and Woofer will be down in the Footscray End pre-match, so make sure you head down there to say ‘hello’, as well as getting your face painted or visiting our balloonist
• Get to the game early and make your way around to our Fanzone (located at Victory Room C, across from aisle ten) to meet Easter Bunny and join in on the fun Easter themed activities! We will be giving away sticker packs to the first 50 kids to arrive so get to the game early, doors open at 3pm.
• Keep your eyes on the big screen for a range of new Bulldogs quizzes, statistics and social media engagement throughout the match
• If you are at the ground before 4:10pm make sure you watch out for the Mission Minute Challenge
• Tweet in your own photos in the crowd on match day using the hashtag #gatherthepack to see your message on the big screen
