Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Bulldogs each week exclusive to westernbulldogs.com.au.
LAST WEEK
A huge comeback by the Doggies wasn’t to be as the Dockers kicked the last two goals of the game to hold on for victory.
After a quiet outing last week, FWD/MID Luke Dahlhaus bounced back with his sixth 100+ score of the season. Captain Robert Murphy found plenty of the ball racking up 29 disposals and 107 Fantasy points. Tory Dickson’s seven goal haul earned him 102 points.
With 82 points, Brett Goodes has been great for his 27,000 owners in the last fortnight since returning to the side. Goodes’ breakeven is 11 and has plenty of cash to make before offloading him.
TOP 5 SCORERS V FREMANTLE
- 110 – Luke Dahlhaus (FWD/MID, $530,000)
- 107 – Robert Murphy (DEF, $398,000)
- 103 – Liam Picken (DEF, $513,000)
- 102 – Tory Dickson (FWD, $372,000)
- 99 – Matthew Boyd (DEF/MID, $552,000)
ON THE RADAR
Midfielder Mitch Wallis played his first game since his back injury in round three. He ran with Mundy, collecting a modest 12 disposals and 58 points. Keep an eye on the 22-year-old as his price will remain relatively low up until the Bulldogs’ bye. If he hits some Fantasy form, jump on.
I pulled the trigger on Mitch Honeychurch last week. I was able to upgrade him to Michael Barlow via DPP. Honeychurch has increased $100K this season and with his breakeven reaching 62 this week off the back of his red-vest, it is time to move him on.
WHAT’S COMING UP
The Bulldogs take on the Demons on Sunday afternoon.
Last time the two sides met, the Dogs took the four points by a solitary goal. Newly named DEF/MID Matthew Boyd was the best for the day, collecting 32 disposals and laying eight tackles for 125.
