Western Bulldogs captain Ellie Blackburn and leader Izzy Huntington have both earned coaches’ votes in the AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year award.
It is the fourth time Blackburn has been recognised this season, and the third time for Huntington.
The duo played important roles in the Bulldogs clash with Collingwood on Sunday, despite going down to the Pies by five goals in Morwell.
Blackburn polled two votes for her 17 disposals and five tackles, leading from the centre.
Huntington received one vote after recording 12 touches, six marks and three tackles from half-back.
The AFLW Bulldogs will return home to VU Whitten Oval this Sunday to host Fremantle at 1.10pm.
