Who has been the most impressive emerging talent so far this year?

Jarrad Grant         35%

Brodie Moles         29%

Jordan Roughead  21%

Brennan Stack       15%

It’s a testament to the young talent at the Bulldogs that we had such even results in this week’s poll.

Fans were split as to who has been our most impressive emerging talent this year, with young forward Jarrad Grant receiving the majority of votes with 35%.

Grant has grabbed his opportunity in 2010 with both hands.  The former Dandenong Stingray has good pace and has been applying fantastic forward pressure over the last few weeks, as well as contributing on the score board.  A top 5 pick, Western Bulldogs fans always had high hopes for Grant and it is exciting to see him start to make the most of his natural talent.

Newcomer, Brodie Moles was a close second (29%) and the former Cat has probably suffered due to a recent injury which has kept him out of the senior side.  Moles has certainly shown enough early season form though to keep Bulldogs fans bullish about his prospects in the years to come.

Young ruck man Jordan Roughead received 21% of the vote and probably could have expected more had it not been for Will Minsons return to the senior side.  Roughead has shown enough though in 2010 to keep us optimistic that the future of the ruck department is in good hands.

And finally West Australian excitement machine Brennan Stack received 15% of the vote.  Stack has shown glimpses this year of the talent he possesses and provides plenty of ‘x factor’ on the forward line, if he continues to play AFL football we can expect him to improve his consistency and develop into an unpredictable weapon up forward.

In this week’s poll we are asking, should Barry Hall get more protection from the umpires.  To vote in this week’s poll click here and scroll to the bottom of the page.
