WESTERN Bulldogs forward Tom Boyd has dislocated his finger in a training drill, with the club’s doctor able to pop the finger back into the joint straight away.
The incident occurred towards the end of the Bulldogs' gruelling three-hour training session.
“Tom dislocated his finger in a training drill, and it was immediately reduced by the doctor on site,” Bulldogs Head Physiotherapist Chris Bell said.
The Bulldogs recruit tackled a teammate during match practice and got his right hand caught in the jumper, dislocating his finger.
Bell confirmed that Boyd would return to training on Friday.
