The Footscray Bulldogs have fallen to Geelong by 18-points in their second practice match at VU Whitten Oval.

Two early goals from Fergus Greene and Jack Redpath saw the Dogs start well.

Booting six late goals, Geelong built on their momentum, leading the Dogs by 10-points heading into the second quarter.

The Cats took control of the second term booting three goals, resulting in a score-less quarter for the home side.

With work to do in the third quarter, the ‘Scray narrowed the margin to 21-points, with Mitch Wallis and Angus Monfries making their mark on the scoreboard.

A goal from Tory Dickson from 40 metres out saw the Dogs start the fourth quarter the right way.

Building on their momentum, the Cats took control of the footy in the final term, leading by 18-points at the final siren.
