Footscray will play four practice matches ahead of the 2015 season, as the reigning premiers prepare for the season proper.
The opening practice match will see more football at Victoria University Whitten Oval, on Saturday 21 March at 2:00pm, which will be followed by the Western Bulldogs’ final NAB Challenge match against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium that evening.
Ballarat fans will get the chance to view the Club’s latest VFL signings, with a practice match at Eureka Stadium on Saturday 28 March at 2:00pm, with the Club to field only VFL players in this match to coincide with the AFL side’s week off ahead of round one the following week.
Footscray will take on Geelong at Simonds Stadium on 4 April at 11:00am, with the final hit out to take place at Punt Rd against Richmond on Saturday 11 April at 10:00am.
Key signings Mark Austin, Jordan Russell and Alex Greenwood will be on display as Footscray prepares for the season under new coach Ashley Hansen.
