Jas H. Stephens - the multi-award winning real estate agency in Melbourne’s Inner West already had a strong family connection to the Bulldogs, but their association has just been strengthened and honored with a seat in the iconic EJ Whitten Stand at Whitten Oval.  

For Managing Director, Craig Stephens, he says the seat is a great way to express Jas Stephens’ support for the Bulldogs and the western region community.

“This Club has given so much to the community, it’s a great way for us to give back to the Club,” Craig says.

Like the Bulldogs, with a rich and colourful history, the Jas Stephens story has been built over 90 years and four generations.  

“Our relationship with the Club goes back a long way and I take immense pride in being the fourth generation to work in the firm,” he says. 

Jas H. Stephens founder, James Henry Stephens (Jas H) was the Mayor of the City of Footscray in 1923 and became the President of the Footscray Football Club in the same year.

Since then, Craig’s Grandfather Jack, and Father Alan have all provided comprehensive real estate services in Melbourne's Inner West.

“We are thrilled with the recent Whitten Oval redevelopment and its transformation to a community hub; it’s been a great addition for people who live in the West,” Craig said.  

When Craig’s not busy working he is father to four children, Craig has twin 13 year old boys, and two girls aged 16 and 18.

“In years to come, it will be great to be able to bring the family down to watch the boys train from our family seat,” he says.

With all funds raised from the Buy a Seat initiative supporting the Bulldogs debt reduction campaign, Craig’s purchase has contributed towards the Club in more ways than one and goes a long way towards giving the Club the best chance at winning.
