The Western Bulldogs have exchanged future picks with North Melbourne for midfielder Nathan Hrovat.
The deal which sees North Melbourne’s future third and future fourth round selections exchanged for the Club’s future third and future fourth round selections, was finalised this morning.
Hrovat has played 30 senior games since being recruited from the Northern Knights with pick 21 in the 2012 AFL Draft.
The 22-year-old played four senior games in 2016.
List Manager Jason McCartney wished Hrovat well for his move to North Melbourne.
“We wish Nathan all the best at North Melbourne and thank him for his contribution over the past four years.”
Furthermore, the Club has secured a second selection in the top 30 after acquiring pick 26 from the Gold Coast SUNS.
The Bulldogs will also obtain pick 80 from the SUNS in exchange for picks 35 and 43 as part of the deal.
McCartney said the Club was pleased with the outcome.
“We’ve identified a strong top 30 in this year’s draft, and we think holding picks 18 and 26 will see us head into the draft in a good position.”
The Club currently holds picks 18, 26, 61, 75, 76, 80 and 94 in the upcoming NAB AFL National Draft.
