The results came in, feathers were ruffled and now there’s talk of a real game taking place between Marcus Bontempelli’s Wizards and Bob Murphy’s Bulls for the title of the ultimate Bulldogs basketball team.
To get everyone up to speed, in Episode 2 of the Freedom in a Cage podcast, Bob and ‘The Bont’ went head-to-head in a mock NBA-style draft where each of them chose a starting five made up of Bulldogs players..
The teams were then put on social media where the fan vote was overwhelmingly in favour of Bonti’s Wizards, and as a result, it may eventually be settled on an actual basketball court, according to Bulls point guard, Murphy.
“There is talk of a game, Murphy said on this week’s podcast. “Jordan Roughead text me saying this game has to happen.”
