The Western Bulldogs have confirmed that 18-year-old key position player Lewis Young will make his debut on Sunday afternoon against Carlton at the MCG.
Young was taken with the Bulldogs’ third pick (49th overall) in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft and will the 999th player to suit up for the Club since 1925.
Both Robert Murphy and Shane Biggs have been cleared to play after battling hamstring and calf complaints respectively, while defender Bailey Williams returns for his first game since Round 10 against St.Kilda.
Fletcher Roberts, Declan Hamilton and Tory Dickson are emergencies, while Matthew Boyd, Easton Wood and Clay Smith will all miss.
The Dogs take on the Blues from 3.20pm this Sunday at the MCG.
