With two wins and two losses, it’s been a mixed month for Footscray, who’ve held their spot in the top despite last week’s nail biting loss to Collingwood.
This week they take on against Sandringham coming off of their first win in a month, a six point victory over Werribee at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
The Zebras sit in eleventh spot on the VFL ladder, but don’t deceived, the closeness of the competition this mirrors the AFL, with just four points and percentage separating the two sides.
The Dogs will bolstered by the return of power forward Travis Cloke and will be keen to come away with the points with the double chance still a possibility.
