The hardened midfield exploits of Nick Lower will be on show in the VFL representative side on Saturday, when they challenge the SANFL state team at Port Melbourne.
The Footscray Bulldogs co-captain was named in the final 25-man squad today and will add some grunt to the Victorian midfield as the two states do battle.
Lower has averaged over six tackles a game this season in the VFL and has been a prominent contributor for the Bulldogs at the clearances.
The VFL and SANFL state leagues will go head-to-head on Saturday at North Port Oval from 1:10pm and will also be broadcast on ABC1 live.
