Footscray midfielder Nick Jamieson has been named in the 2017 VFL Team of the Year at the JJ Liston Trophy count at Crown Casino last night.
Jamieson was selected on the interchange after another strong campaign for the Bulldogs, his fourth at VU Whitten Oval after being recruited from VAFA club Old Scotch.
The 25-year-old was the Club’s leading goal kicker during last year’s premiership run, and a move into the midfield saw him also rewarded with a place in the VFL state squad back in May.
Bulldogs teammate Lukas Webb finished ninth in JJ Liston Trophy voting for the VFL’s best and fairest player after he averaged 24 disposals per game and kicked 18 goals in 15 games.
