Pivot West’s StreetHealth has received acknowledgement for their achievements in making a significant improvement to the health and wellbeing of the Western Region with the Club’s Eddie McGuire Community Services Award.

StreetHealth is an innovative mobile, ‘street based’ after hours primary health service for homeless, transient, and other disadvantaged groups.

StreetHealth provides comprehensive medical services, such as; health checks, blood tests, vaccinations, counselling, men’s and women’s health, preventative health and minor procedures. 
StreetHealth services are delivered by dedicated doctors and nurses during regular evening clinics at a variety of locations - one of those locations includes Whitten Oval on Monday evenings.
Presented by Club President, David Smorgon OAM at Sunday’s game against the Pies, Janis Backwell, Manager Population Health - Projects & Practice Manager StreetHealth said she was delighted to receive the award.

Established in 2003, the Eddie McGuire Community Services Award is open to individuals or organisations whose achievements have had a widespread influence and have made a significant improvement in the Western Region Community.
