Croooooooooozier… Big, big climb…
When it comes to high-flyers, there are few better than Hayden Crozier.
Soaring into the skies – and coming down with the ball – is no easy feat.
As a junior, Crozier’s aerial exploits were well-publicised.
And he enhanced his reputation again in 2019 with two AFL Mark of the Year nominations.
Crozier’s grab against Collingwood in round four was one for the ages.
Late in the second term, he flew from four deep – soaring over Jamie Elliott, Ed Richards and Brody Mihocek – to take a screamer.
It almost spilled out.
But high-flying Hayden hung onto it as he came back down to earth.
It was comfortably the best mark from a Bulldog in 2019 – and perhaps unlucky not to be a contender for Mark of the Year.
