Howard will bolster the Bulldogs defensive stocks with his run and precise foot skills, while Jones will provide a target up forward according to Assistant Coach Brett Montgomery.

“The two ins coming in for this week for their opportunity is Christian Howard comes back into the side to play half back,” Montgomery said.

“Also Liam Jones gets another opportunity to show his wares up forward and compete for us and give us a big, strong target.”

Utility Jarrad Grant and ruckman Tom Campbell are also in line for a potential call up after being named amongst Williamstown’s best players last weekend.

Grant’s efficient ball use in muddy conditions against Sandringham sees him in the mix, while Campbell’s dominance in the ruck also impressed.

First year defender Michael Talia has also been named on the extended interchange and is in the mix to play his third senior game in his debut year.
