Western Bulldogs Development Manager Chris Maple looks at how the Bulldogs listed players are faring at Williamstown.
Jordan Roughead: Jordan played forward and ruck and he was competitive all day. He also kicked a nice goal.
Matt Panos: He kicked two goals and played both back and forward showing his versatility. It was a bit of a quiet day for Matt to be honest.
Bulldogs Rookie Jason Johannisen has been upgraded to the senior list, to read more click here.
Andrew Hooper: Hooper got front and centre to a couple of nice balls. He worked hard putting on forward pressure and also kicked a goal. It was a good return to footy after three weeks out.
Tom Campbell: Campbell played predominantly in the ruck and a little bit forward. He was competitive against Majak Daw and the other ruckman for Werribee. We are looking for him to follow up his work a bit more at ground level.
Zephaniah Skinner: Skinner was pretty good. He provided a lot of forward pressure and kicked the winning goal for Williamstown. He took a couple of nice marks and worked really hard. He showed some good signs.
Justin Sherman: Sherman was quiet the first quarter then really got into the game after that. He ran hard and won some good contested footy. His GPS results were really good too.
Michael Talia: Played key defensive post. Had variety of opponents. Was consistent all day.
Alex Greenwood: Best VFL senior game. Was quite good in the contest and used the ball really well. Played midfield and as a high forward. Really promising signs.
Fletcher Roberts: Key back again. Did well in his one on one contests. Spoiled well all day, just needed to use the ball a bit better which has been a strong point all year.
Jason Johannisen: JJ showed plenty of run and dash and rebound. He used the ball well. It was another good, solid game from him.
Liam Jones: Jones kicked three goals. He kicked the first two goals in the game and then kicked a crucial goal from 50m when the team was in dire need of it. We were ten points down and Liam and obviously Zephy’s last goal is what turned it for Williamstown. Good game by him.
