Bulldogs fans can expect a more “exciting” game style come NAB Challenge according to midfielder Nathan Hrovat.
Hrovat, speaking with Sportsday Radio said that after a solid pre-season under new coach Luke Beveridge, the playing group is itching for the season to start.
“Bevo’s brought a really positive vibe to the group and obviously the bits and pieces of our game that he wanted to change and develop.
“We’ve worked on that this pre-season, got away on a good camp to Mooloolaba that we’ve just come back from so it’s been very exciting and I think going into NAB Challenge games you’ll probably see a different Bulldogs outfit.”
Hrovat said the group has relished having a near-full list throughout the pre-season, which has allowed for more realistic match play as the group adapts to Beveridge’s game plan.
It’s a game plan that Hrovat said should excite Bulldogs fans with moving the ball quickly a focus.
“It’s something that we’ve really trained for throughout the pre-season is to improve our ball movement.
“I think you’ll see a lot more exciting, fast ball movement with a lot more run and carry.”
Although only having a few months to adapt to Beveridge’s game style, Hrovat says that the group is positive the game plan tweaks will pay off.
“It is a young list but we are really confident that with hard work and the talent we’ve got we can get some good results in 2015.”
