The Western Bulldogs have made three changes for the Hampson-Hardeman Cup against Melbourne on Saturday afternoon.

Aurora Smith will play her first game in 580 days, after being sidelined with an ACL injury in season six.

Smith will be joined by Heidi Woodley for her first outing of  the 2023 NAB AFLW season, while Maggie Gorham has been recalled.

The trio come in at the expense of Bailey Hunt, Naomi Ferres and Daisy Bateman.

Both Hunt and Ferres have been named emergencies, as has Rocky Cranston.

The clash will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Hampson-Hardeman Cup, named in honour of Bob Hampson and Lisa Hardeman who pioneered women’s football ahead of the inaugural 2013 exhibition match.

The game will be broadcast live on 7Mate, with the first bounce at 3.05pm AEST at Casey Fields.
