The AFLW Bulldogs will kick off their 2023 campaign against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday 2 September, as part of a 10-round season announced by the AFL today.

The Bulldogs will host Hawthorn at Mars Stadium in their first home match on Sunday 10 September before making their long-awaited return to VU Whitten Oval in round five.

The Bulldogs will host St Kilda on the Grand Final Eve public holiday in their first game back at the Footscray headquarters, albeit with limited capacity due to the ongoing redevelopment.

Details about VU Whitten Oval access will be communicated to Bulldogs members and fans in due course.

The Dogs will play a further three games at VU Whitten Oval – round six against Carlton, round eight against Sydney and round 10 against North Melbourne.

Other highlights of the fixture include a meeting with the reigning premiers Melbourne (R3), and three interstate trips – round four v Gold Coast, round seven v Adelaide and round nine v West Coast.

Indigenous Round will again be held over two weeks (R7 and R8), while Pride Round will be celebrated in round 10.

Dates and times for the final round will be confirmed mid-season.
