Western Bulldogs trio Ellie Blackburn, Alice Edmonds and Katie Lynch have been named in the 2022 Season Seven AFLW All Australian squad of 42 players.
It marks maiden selections for Edmonds and Lynch, who were some of the Bulldogs biggest improvers in season seven, and a record seventh inclusion for captain Blackburn.
The skipper has been listed in the squad every season, earning All Australian honours in 2017, 2018 and 2021.
Blackburn was at her best in season seven, averaging 20 disposals, five clearances, five tackles, four inside 50s and 383 metres gained throughout the campaign.
She also became the Bulldogs’ first 50-game player in round three.
Edmonds enjoyed a career-best season, winning a league-high 288 hit-outs after assuming the number one ruck role, with an average of 20 hit-outs to advantage, nine disposals and five tackles.
Lynch set the standards in the backline, taking 56 marks across the season, with an average of 14 disposals, six intercepts and three rebound 50s as one of the Dogs’ more experienced defenders.
The 42-player squad will be trimmed to a team of 21 and announced at the Season Seven W Awards on Tuesday 22 November, which will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
