Footscray have added further talent to their VFL list ahead of the 2015 season, with the recent signings of five new players.
Joining Alex Greenwood and Mark Austin as recent signings, five players will call Victoria University Whitten Oval home in 2015.
Meyrick Buchanan comes across from Werribee after a year with the Tigers in 2014.
Buchanan is the brother of former Sydney premiership player Amon, and although small will bring much-needed speed to the Footscray list.
The talented sportsman gave up a potential cricket career to focus on football and will be a handy addition in 2014.
Josh Wallis, younger brother of the Western Bulldogs’ Mitch, joins from St Bernard’s and Calder Cannons alongside St Bernard’s teammate Mitch Hannan.
Gippsland Power’s Liam Nash and Uni Blacks’ Tom Sharp have also signed on for 2015.
