Western Bulldogs stand-in skipper Tom Liberatore has made a move in the Sharp EIT Solutions AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.

Liberatore added eight votes to his tally following his efforts in the narrow win over Carlton, which included 30 disposals, six marks, 11 tackles, five clearances and a goal.

It moves the 32-year-old into second place (19 votes) on the overall leaderboard; just one vote behind current leader Jordan Dawson.

Third-gamer Sam Davidson also polled eight votes for a 31-disposal, 10-mark and 639-metres gained performance, while Matt Kennedy (22 disposals, four tackles, two goals and nine clearances) earned three votes.
