Western Bulldogs star midfielder Kirsty Lamb has capped off an incredible season by being named in the 2022 AFLW All Australian team.
It is a maiden selection for the 27-year-old, who was named on the interchange bench at Tuesday night’s W Awards.
She enjoyed an impactful 2022, averaging 18.7 possessions and 3.4 tackles, while recording career-high disposals (27, round five), marks (14, round seven) and clearances (nine, round four).
She also contributed six goals, and was the Bulldogs’ leading contested ball-winner (89) and clearance specialist (39).
The recognition could be one of many accolades Lamb collects this week, with the AFLPA MVP awards on Wednesday and Club Best and Fairest count on Friday.
Lamb is the Bulldogs’ sole All Australian representative this season, with teammates Ellie Blackburn (2017, 2018, 2021) and Bonnie Toogood missing out after being named in the squad of 40 last week.
