Western Bulldogs defender Roarke Smith has been nominated for the Woolworths Mark of the Year for Round 16.
The 21-year-old leaped from the side to take a huge grab over Hawthorn’s Taylor Duryea, during the second quarter of Saturday’s match at Etihad Stadium.
Smith, who was re-signed as a rookie for the 2018 season after a poor run with injury, was playing just his eighth senior game for the Bulldogs.
The 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year award winner will be announced at the 2018 Brownlow Medal Count. The player that wins the 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year will receive $10,000.
