The Western Bulldogs have ruled out trading any of their high picks in this year's NAB AFL Draft.

The Bulldogs sent their second round selection (No. 44) to West Coast on Wednesday, in exchange for onballer Koby Stevens.

They still hold picks five, six and 22 in the first round of November's draft on the Gold Coast.

List manager Jason McCartney said there was no chance any of the first round picks would be traded before the 2pm Gillette Trade Period deadline on Friday.

"They (the picks) will definitely be going to the draft," McCartney told AFL.com.au's Trade Radio on Wednesday afternoon.

"They're great picks to have, and we need to maximise them."

But McCartney said the Bulldogs were still open to further trading this week, if the right deal emerged.

"You never say never," he said.

"Something might bob up on Friday when we're all together again."

All 18 clubs will meet at Etihad Stadium on Friday morning as the three-week trade window draws to a close.
