Western Bulldogs forward Jake Stringer has received a Coates Hire Goal of the Year nomination for one of his five goals in the Dogs’ 72-point win against Brisbane on Saturday night.

Stringer’s nominated goal came in the third term after some crafty work from teammates Toby McLean and Luke Dahlhaus.

After he picked up an awkwardly bouncing ball, Stringer’s right foot snap bounced through for an incredible goal that got the Bulldogs crowd on their feet and put his side 22 points in front.
