Toby McLean is set to make his return to football this week.
The 25-year-old is expected to line-up in the VFL on Sunday, having completed his rehabilitation program after an ACL injury.
McLean suffered the injury late last season, in a win against Hawthorn in September.
He has ticked all the boxes to make a return inside nine months.
“He’s been the ultimate professional in rehab following his ACL injury and has done everything possible to make himself bigger and better than ever,” head of medical services, Chris Bell, said.
“We all look forward to seeing Toby pull on the Bulldogs jumper in the VFL this week.”
McLean has played 91 AFL games as a Bulldog and featured on 12 occasions last season before the injury.
The Bulldogs’ VFL side will host the Casey Demons at VU Whitten Oval on Sunday at 12.05pm, with the game to broadcast live on Channel 7.
