In the lead-up to the season opener, the Western Bulldogs will hold an open training session for members and fans at Etihad Stadium on Good Friday from 10am.

The venue change will allow the Bulldogs’ playing group to familiarise themselves with the Etihad Stadium surface ahead of Saturday’s clash with Brisbane Lions – having not played at their home ground since NAB Cup round two.

After the training session, Daniel Giansiracusa and Ben Graham will take part in the Good Friday telethon, which will be hosted at the stadium throughout the day.

The Bulldogs and fellow Etihad Stadium tenants are given the opportunity to train at the ground on two occasions through the season, however the option has not been taken up in several years.

The Club is also interested in exploring opportunities with Etihad management to have further skill and familiarisation sessions at the ground over and above the two training sessions on offer – subject to availability and match load.
