They kicked more than 1000 goals between them in their illustrious careers, and on Friday, Brad Johnson and Brent Harvey will strap the boots back up for a great cause.
Johnson and Harvey will take part in the ‘Legends Kick for the Kids’, where they’ll take aim at the big sticks to raise money for the Good Friday Appeal.
The Bulldogs and Kangaroos will face off in the annual Kick for the Kids Good Friday game at Marvel Stadium, where there’ll be four points up for grabs but a cause much bigger than the game to play for.
Johnson enjoyed a brilliant 17-year career with the Bulldogs, kicking 558 goals, with a career-high bag of eight in Round 1, 2007.
Harvey’s career spanned 21 seasons, and he booted 518 majors.
Both players are current games record holders, and each sit second on the all-time goalkickers tally, at their respective clubs.
The showdown will take place at half-time, with each goal resulting in a set amount donation to the Appeal.
