Bob and Woody are back for the second episode of the Barkly Street podcast for the 2021 season, and they dragged cult hero Tom Liberatore into the studio with them ahead of his 150th game for the Club.
‘Libba’ tells the boys how thankful he is to reach the milestone, before answering some quirky questions from the fans, via #BarklyStreet.
Among the topics covered, Tom discusses his favourite episodes of The Simpsons, teases the possibility of a new upcoming tattoo, announces who’s taking over the mantle as Nonna’s favourite Liberatore, and reveals which movie made him sad as a kid.
Before Libba enters the VU Whitten Oval studio, Bob and Woody talk about the Round 1 win over the Pies, Jamarra’s form, and how ‘Clint’ Easton Wood’s hamstrings (Laverne and Shirley) pulled up from his return game in the VFL.
They also settle on new nicknames for Anthony ‘Dazzler’ Scott and Lachie ‘Ally McBeal’ McNeil after some quality suggestions from the Barkly Street listeners, and unveil which current or former players live in their neighbourhoods.
